Eng. Khaled Adas

Eng. Khaled Adas has a MEd. in e-learning specialized in Technology and Design from Jones International University, USA 2008; and a BS degree on Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri, USA in 1990.

Eng. Adas has been with Intel since 1999 , now he’s the Strategic Relationships Manager for Intel in Middle East North Africa region, responsible for initiating flagship CSR programs and creating strategic coalitions and partnership with governments, education institutes, private sectors, NGO‘s and key stakeholders to make sustainable social and economic impact across MENA. He is managing the development and implementation of Intel Innovation Initiative, a MENA initiative aims to enable knowledge based economy and inspire next generation of innovators in MENA by focusing in 3 pillars: education transformation to enable 21st century learning, Science and Technology to foster scientific and technology research development and entrepreneurship for employability.

Prior to that, Khaled was Intel Corporate Affairs Manager for GCC during which he achieved various accomplishments like Intel Teach training for 100,000 teachers across GCC countries; created the very first Intel Science Competition for Arab World under patronage with Arab league in 2010 in Egypt; led the establishment of Intel joint Research & Development activities with King Abdulaziz City for science and Technology and enabled STEM skills among + 100,000’s of pre-college students. IN addition, Khaled managed the regional Intel technology business plan competition to foster youth employability in MENA. Khaled’s corporate social responsibility efforts brought Intel various government and public recognition.

In 1999, Eng. Adas established Intel office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and managed the development of Intel related business growth initiatives. In 2005 Khaled progressed to a new mission as the Education Manager for the Gulf Countries, where he kicked off Intel Teach programs and Intel International Science and Engineering Fairs in the region and started Intel’s thought leadership in education to enhance 21st century learning and promote STEM in the region.

Prior to joining Intel Corporation, Eng. Adas lead various roles in sales and marketing with Microsoft Corporation, Saudi Arabian Basic Industries “SABIC”, and Al-Khaleej Corporation. Eng. Adas is a certified senior trainer since 1992 and has trained +500,000 individuals on digital literacy.

Eng. Adas has received more than 30 government recognition awards to his valuable public contributions. He sets in the board of expertise for various, government and society associations to promote education transformation, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Eng. Adas is married and has four children (2 boys and two girls).
