Grégoire Sentilhes, is the Chairman & CEO of NextStage, a company that he co founded with Jean David Haas in 2002, a leading player in in growth equity investments managing 0.5Billion € AUM, to fund unlisted and listed “ Growth Champions “ in France and in EU, in order to get them to grow globally. Grégoire Sentilhes has been an internet pioneer since 1988 ; he was previously in New York, the President of Screaming Media, which was taken public on the Nasdaq in 2000, then merged with Market Watch , and acquired fo 0.55 billion $ by Dow Jones in 2005. He was before Vice President Worldwide e-commerce activities of the German group Bertelsmann from 1996 to 1999. He was the CEO and co-founder of Internet and on-line activities of the Lagardère group ( Elle, Première, Europe 1, ..) in Paris from 1993 to 1996. He was the co founder & CEO of a SI one of the first web agency from 1988 to 1993. He worked with Robert Hersant from 1983 to 1988, and was a board member of the Hersant Group, a leading player in the media industry. He was a board member of the International Union of Télecom in Geneva, from 1995 to 2000.
He has been actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship since 2007, and he is the co-founder of the G20 YES (Young Entrepreneur Summit) for which he was the first Chairman of the G20 YEA until June 2012, and is now the chairman of the G20 YEA in France. He is the Chairman and co founder of Citizen Entrepreneurs, and the Entrepreneurship Week which he launched in November 2007 in France, and became then the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a movement now whose goal is to promote and make popular the role of entrepreneur, now operating in 140 countries the 3rd week of November and backed by Président Francois Hollande, Barack Obama, Prime Minister David Cameron, Stephen Harper.., He was one of the 4 experts for the French Government during the « Assises de l’Entrepreneuriat » about promoting Entrepreneurship whose closing was held in April 2013.
He has been a regular guest to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the last 10 years as well as in the GCC region, including to adress the challenge of youth and female unemployment through entrepreneurship.
Grégoire is married, has 3 daughters, and leaves in Paris , France and he is a passionate sailor and a former sailing athlete ( France 3 challenge for the Americ’s Cup in Newport Rhode Island, USA, Etchell world Championship in Long Island USA, 470 Youth World Championship in Alassio, Italy, Pre Olympic Series in Hyeres in Soling, ..)
