The Centennial Fund held a ceremony awarding the Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah International Prize for Entrepreneurship in its second round this Monday at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The ceremony included the word of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Saudi, Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Centennial Fund, and then a word from Professor Muhammad Yunus who is from Bangladesh and a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. He who was also awarded the best leading figure in Entrepreneurship for 2014.
The ceremony also included a speech by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi, General Director of the Centennial Fund and the General Secretary of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Global Entrepreneurship Award, as well as a documentary film about the award and the achievements of the Centennial Fund.
The sponsor of the event who launched the site of Global Leadership gate “Entrepreneurs “ was awarded. In addition the winners of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah International Prize for Entrepreneurship and official sponsor partners of the of the event were also awarded.
The ceremony was attended by with His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah, a large number of princes, ministers and senior global local and Gulf economic figures. This included His Royal Highness the Prince of Riyadh’s Region Turki bin Abdullah, and His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information. In addition His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Economy and planning, and the well-known businessman Abdullah Saleh Kamel attended. The Goodwill Ambassador and writer Abdul Rahman Badran of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan also attended the ceremony.
